Born in Pontiac: Possibility to Precision

Born in Pontiac, a suburb of Detroit, Misty Angelique Smith grew up surrounded by brilliance and burnout. Watching her community lead with heart but without systems planted the seed for her life’s work.

A health crisis in her late 20s forced her to slow down and rebuild not just her body, but the way she worked. That recovery became the foundation for The AB Way™, her signature approach to people-centered systems that create breathing room for leaders.

Her “no more” moment came watching yet another nonprofit founder cancel rest to do manual tasks. Misty knew: no more brilliant missions running on empty.

Today, she helps mission-driven teams trade chaos for clarity building backend systems that support the people who power change.

Rooted & Raised

From marrying young to navigating motherhood, marriage, and leadership all at once, Misty’s journey started with choosing purpose over pressure. Through seasons of struggle and realignment, she learned that building a legacy doesn’t require perfection, it requires full presence while perfecting things along the way. Her faith, family, and lived experiences shaped the woman and visionary she is today.

Misty is a business strategist, wellness educator, wife, mother of four, and community leader who believes healing and systems belong in the same room. She works with purpose-driven individuals and organizations to integrate automation, clarity, and tech into their business so their structure finally supports their success and their wellbeing.
